The Metropolitan Baton Rouge Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. proudly presents our highly anticipated signature event, the 4th Annual Community Recognition and Scholarship Awards Fundraiser, The Royal Experience!

A night where royalty meets sophistication and unforgettable memories are made. Get ready to be captivated by an extraordinary evening of celebration, connection, and community as we honor Black women changemakers who are making a profound impact in health, education, economic empowerment, and public policy.

Held at L’Auberge Casino and Hotel on May 31, 2025, this esteemed event also includes awarding scholarships to local high school, collegiate, and graduate students, furthering our mission to uplift and empower future leaders.

VENDOR APPLICATION: Please complete all fields of this application.  A $250 vendor fee must be paid to be considered a vendor.  Once you have completed this form and been selected as a vendor, you will be sent a QuickBooks invoice. Your space is not secured until your invoice has been paid in full.  Please note, we will not hold any spaces or accept partial payments for holds. This event is exclusive, and vendors will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our deadline for vendor applications is April 15th, and all payments must be received by May 1st.

OUR 2025 KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr. Lisa S. Vosper

Introducing our Keynote Speaker for The Royal Experience, Dr. Lisa S. Vosper, known as “The Collaboration Queen,” is the Associate Commissioner for Workforce Education and Training at the Louisiana Board of Regents.

With a diverse professional background spanning roles such as legislative assistant, educator, community college instructor, and executive, she has been instrumental in initiatives like Louisiana’s Career Readiness Certificate and ACT’s National Board of Advisors for Workforce Development.

Dr. Vosper holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership and research from Louisiana State University and A & M College, and is recognized for her transformative work in higher education and workforce development on state, regional, and national levels.

OUR 2025 GUEST SPEAKER

Walter Geno McLaughlin

Introducing our Guest Speaker for The Royal Experience, Walter Geno McLaughlin. Mr. McLaughlin is Director of Outreach for the Power Coalition for Equity and Justice, where he builds statewide coalitions and mobilizes citizens around key issues and policies.

With a background in community engagement and redevelopment, he has led efforts to uplift neglected communities and connect families to vital resources. As managing partner of Abstract Concepts, he oversees projects like Eat Black BR and the Juneteenth Unity Festival.

A past Baton Rouge Business Report Forty Under 40 honoree, Geno serves on several local boards and remains committed to driving policy change and strengthening communities across Louisiana.
